What does STAMP certify?

The STa”M project reviews and assures buyers of:

  • Credibility of the sofer and magiah
  • Quality and kashrus of the materials
  • Halachic standard of the product

Every STAMP-certified product goes through a review process that includes:

  • Manual haga'ah: Double-checked by two independent, certified magihim
  • Computer review: Three times during the certification process
  • Transparent and traceable quality assurance

What can our computer system find?

STAMP’s state-of-the-art machine learning computer system examines complex halachic requirements the human eye might miss, and is operated by a top-knotch magiah who then reviews its findings.

We detect

  • Spelling errors
  • Tzuras ha’osios: Letter formation and halachic shape validation
  • Spacing issues: Identifying improper gaps between letters and words
  • Tagin: Disconnected, touching or faded crowns atop the letters.
  • Mixed writing styles: Ensuring ksav consistency
  • Forgery protection: By matching the 'hand writing' of every mezuzah to the certified sofer
  • Article traceability: Matching every product to a unique internal ID
  • Item recognition: As no two items are ever identical, scan your mezuzah to verify its certified status.
